Route description Rondje Haarlem
The route description starts at the train station of Overveen. You can easily get to this station from Haarlem Central Station and there is sufficient (free) parking at station Overveen.
Station Overveen
With your back to station Overveen, turn left, cycle along the railroad tracks (so turn left at the road block). Cycle along the old Israelian burial ground. Turn left at Brouwerskolkweg to cross the bridge 'Prins Bernhardbrug'. Follow the cycle path in the park. At the end of the cycle path is the natural area Brouwerskolk.
Kraantje Lek
Turn right at Duinlustweg, along natural area Middenduin, and along Kraantje Lek. Follow Duinlustweg, along the white fence of Koningshof. Straight ahead at the crossing Van Haemstedelaan. Follow Van Haemstedelaan on exiting the park. Follow Mr. H. Enschedeweg straight ahead, Cross Zandvoorterweg, turn right on Koekoeksweg, turn left on Nachtegalenlaan. Follow the signs 'Vogelenzang', go straight ahead on Vogelenzangseweg.
Amsterdamse Waterleidingsduinen & Estate Leyduin
After the entrance to the Amsterdamse Waterleidingsduinen, turn left to country estates Leyduin, Vinkenduin and Oud Woestduin. Follow the path through Leyduin.
Follow Herenweg. Turn left at the traffic lights in a town called Bennebroek. Turn left (accross a bridge) at the next traffic lights.
Follow the path. In Heemstede, turn right on Fazantenlaan. At the end of Fazantenlaan, turn left on Patrijzenlaan, turn right on Glipperdreef. You will pass
an old flour mill. Turn right on Sportparklaan, right on Ringvaartlaan, left on Ing. Lelylaan, Left on Cruquiusweg. Cross Cruquiusweg at the crossing with Javalaan
and follow the road on the other side. Turn right at Nijverheidsweg where you will pass a water tower.
Opposite a small children's farm, turn into a path between two hedges. Turn right accross a pedestrian bridge, turn left on Bernhard Zweerslaan, turn right
on Johan Wagenaarlaan.
over voetgangersbrug RA, LA Bernard Zweerslaan, RA Johan Wagenaarlaan. Turn right at the intersection on Caesar Franklaan. Cross the bridge accross the Spaarne
and Put van Vink. Turn right at the sharp bend. Turn left on the intersection at Zuid-Schalwijkerweg, turn left on cycle path Lage Kadijk.
Molenplas
Turn left at the end of the path at lake Molenplas. Turn right at Schalkwijckermolenpad, go straight ahead accross the cycle bridge. Follow the path along the water
Turn right at the intersection. Turn left at the canal Ringvaart. On your right accross the water is Fort Vijfhuizen. At the end of Emeltpad, turn Left on Groeneweg
Near the residential area, turn right to the cycle path. Turn right before you reach the forrest. Turn left at the Ringvaart. Turn right onto the cycle path
after you pass below Oude en Nieuwe Schipholweg. The cycle path will continue as Liewegje. At the end of Liewegje, turn right to Amsterdamsevaart. Turn left
at Hotel Zoet Inval, cross the railroad and turn left to the cycle bridge. Turn right at the first intersection.
Spaarnwoude
Turn right when you get to the mill. Turn left at the T intersection. After 50 m, turn left to a cycle path. Go straight ahead at signpost 21514 RD, turn left at signpost 22675 LA, right at signpost 22655 and turn right again at signpost 24812 RA. After you pass a church in the small town Spaarndam turn left. Turn left in the direction of Spaarndam.
Spaarndam
Turn left at the end of the rural area to Nieuwe Rijweg. Keep right, cycle along Fort Spaarndam-Zuid and Noorderbuiten Spaarne, turn right into a small path
before the bridge. Het first small part of this path is for pedestrians only. At the end of the path, cross the dike and go straight ahead.
Go left at the first crossing. Straight ahead at the crossing Oostlaan/Westlaan.
Cross the street, turn left and turn right after crossing the dike. Cross the Hoofdweg and turn left. Turn right at the traffic circle into Wüstelaan, Turn right into the park (Burg. Rijkenspark). Upon exiting the park, go straight ahead on Olga von Götschlaan, turn right on Wijnoldy Danielslaan. Turn left to Middenduinerweg at the crossing, cross the railroad tracks and go straight ahead.
Ruïne van Brederode
At the T intersection, turn left to Velserenderlaan. Turn right to Bergweg before the ruines. You will pass the entrance of the Kennemerduinen.
Turn right to Brederoodseweg at the T intersection. Straight ahead at the traffic circle. Turn right into a cycle path at the Pannenkoekenhuis.
Turn right at the next crossing. Right at Carmelweg. Turn left at the top to Midden Duin en Daalseweg. Follow this road.
At the T intersection turn left to Hoge Duin en Daalseweg. Turn right to Lombart Petrilaan. Cross the road and take a right turn and directly after a left turn.
Left at the T intersection. You have returned to train station Overveen.
